39 Weeks

How Far Along: 39 Weeks...7 days to go!

Size of Baby: Baby #3 continues to build a layer of fat to help control his/her body temperature after birth, but it's likely he/she already measures about 20 inches and weighs a bit over 7 pounds, a mini watermelon. The outer layers of his/her skin are sloughing off as new skin forms underneath.

Weight Gain: We will see at my appointment....I sure did enjoy some yummy foods this weekend.

Maternity Clothes: Slipped into my maternity bathing suit...hopefully for the last time! Same old Same old with everything else. So ready to be able to shop for cute, fall clothes!!!!

Gender: Every single person, that I know or don't know (more that I don't), say Boy! I got out of the car at the grocery and was getting Zoe out and the old man next to us screams, "Its a Boy...I'm old...I know these things." I love hearing why people think what they think. Mainly people think I am having a boy because I am really low and only out front.

Totally and completely irriatated with baby name talk...sometimes I just pray it is a girl so we can be done with it. I seriously don't think this little boy will have a name (if its a boy) until Zach sees him.

Zach said to put out the question to all of you...as he laughed...what do you think we should name our little boy?

Movement: More movement in the last couple days...very low. I love playing with the Baby's feet. I just sit and tickle them and he/she moves them and then I find them again. Can't wait to kiss all over them!!!

Sleep: Good week of sleep!!! Thank goodness!

Symptoms: TMI...but for those who are pregnant and like to know these things. I have had an increase in fluids and mucus...some brown. After being checked, I had no signs of bleeding or discomfort, so that is good! I have had more aches in my groin...like I just ran many miles. Very sore. When I move...at any time...my groin hurts. I have had sharp pains in my lower region that make me have to bend over and raise back up very slowly. It is getting harder and harder to do anything...and when I am on my feet to long, I swell some. But I can still wear both my rings which makes me happy :) Many Braxton Hicks that have been getting increasingly uncomfortable.

Best Moment of the Week: Zach and I (yes...my hubby finally helped!) got some things done to finish getting ready for our little one's arrival. Zach got down receiving blankets and some neutral onesies we had in the attic and he sanitized all our bottles and breast pump parts! We packed our bags for the hospital and I packed Zoe a spend the night bag, just in case she has to go to Grammy and Papa's. I was able to keep the house tidied all week, so it is just a pick up game when I go into labor. It feels so much better coming home to a clean house!

Another best moment was getting my camera cleaned!!! The Rebel is ready for delivery!

And another....We were able to spend Saturday evening with friends....so relaxing and much needed considering we are about to have our hands kind of full for a little while!

So now we wait!!!!!

My husband and I are expecting in December. We are clueless to what the gender is of our baby also. We are also having the hardest time picking out a boy name. Our girl name is set though. I hope y'all can decide on something soon because it's almost here!!
My guess is BOY! Good luck!

Men are very particular about their sons....Cory and I also agreed on several girl names easily before we knew the gender, but he vetoed nearly every boy name in the book!
