Girl's Night Out with God!

It has been extremely heavy on my heart to find a way to gather my friends and help us all to grow spiritually!  A while back, we started a book club and read some amazing books!  Since then, each of us have had a child or had a second child.  And well...reading a book....in full...is kinda difficult!  Let alone remembering what you read to be able to share at the book club...can we say Mommy Brain!  But, even if we didn't read...we still came to the book club night because we all love getting together for fellowship!  So...I got to thinking and praying!

How could I still spiritually feed myself and my friends the way I was feeling called to do?

As many of you know...I love relationship!  I am a extrovert to the MAX!  I value my relationships so very much!  And relationships are hard work...whether you work, have kids, live far away...you have to put forth time and effort if you want relationships...and this is not just with friends...but also with Husbands and family!

The more I prayed, the more I realized something needed to be established that took no preparation, no reading, no work ahead of time for my girlfriends...just a nice night of growing closer with God!  Simple as that!

And from my prayers and thoughts...and a little bit of creativity and planning (on my part)...we have

Girl's Night Out with God!

I am so excited about this new venture!  I love planning, creating, putting something together and seeing the final product!  I love seeing hard work pay off...especially when it comes to my relationships!
Last night was our first Night Out and it was a total success and so much fun!  I have been planning our little night for over a month now.  I had so much fun making out the invitations, getting fun giveaways, picking something to raffle off for the ladies and, the biggest part, deciding on what was going to be talked about!

My Sister was so sweet to make time in her schedule to be the guest speaker!  And boy did she do amazing! I am so proud of her and everything she has become!

I can't wait to share with you all the night!  Next post!

My hopes is that I can plan a Girl's Night Out with God every other month.  For busy women, every week...really hard...every month...hard but doable...every other month...PERFECT!

Easter at Grandma's

After the birthday party and Ian's 1st baseball game of the season...we headed back to Grandma and Grandaddy's to celebrate Easter with baskets and an egg hunt.

I think this is the last year Grandma will be able to have empty eggs...the little ones lost interest once they realized they were empty.  We have some smart kids..haha!

All my gorgeous nieces and nephews!  Love these kids so very much!

 Never a dull moment!!!
And I do believe Katie Beth has now learned never to play a prank on Uncle Cory!
We had a wonderful time, as always, visiting the country to see Grandma and Grandaddy! :)

8 & 3

This past weekend, we headed to Berry to celebrate Ian and Tucker's Birthdays!  These boys are growing so fast!  It is hard to believe that the first time I met Ian he was 3 years old and now he is 8!

The boys wanted a Motorcycle Themed cake...Holly did such a good job!

Carson was so excited for a cupcake...he kept telling us which colors he wanted..."I want Green, no I want yellow...No I want red!"

Carson couldn't resist the mud hole!  It is like it was calling his name...he played here majority of the day!

Holly had the kids play a fun game with donuts!  All the kids got to play this year and it was so funny watching all of them try so hard to get the donuts without their hands...the little ones got tired and used their hands though!

Buying for boys is so hard for me...I never know what to get.  But when I saw these bug catching supplies, I immediately thought of Tucker!  We got Tucker a Bug Box (Full of Gummy Worms), a Net and lots of fake bugs and one big slimy fly!
We got Ian board game HedBandz.

Another year and birthday have come and gone....we sure did love spending time with family celebrating these two very special boys!

I am loving that my SIL is now a stay at home Mommy.....More Playdates!!!!!

I just love these two little boys and I am so glad that Zoe and Evan have cousins that live so close!

Kimberly and the boys met us at Catch Air today to get some much needed energy out...which made for great nap times at our house!

Evan and Colin are sitting up so good!

And Carson is a dancing machine....the kid didn't stop running the entire time we were there!
 And Jumping!

After playing, we headed across the street to Chick-fil-a....I am pretty sure the kids were more excited about chicken then playing at Catch Air....screams of joy all around!

A great day with family!
