Gobble, Gobble

What an awesome Thanksgiving we had this year....full of yummy, yummy food, lots of giggling kids and some great new memories!  I am just so thankful for family, mine and Zach's.  Watching all our kids play just warms my heart.  They all get along so good...this year at least :)

Zelda outdid herself with the food this year.  There were 3 turkeys, one ham, lots of casseroles, dressing, cranberry sauce, mac n cheese, caramel pies, 4 layer delight....it is making my mouth water now!

My parents celebrated Thanksgiving in Arizona with Ponchito, so there was no Byrne Family Thanksgiving this year :(  But we will just have to make up for lost time at Christmas!

Random Pictures...That Make Me Smile

Being without a computer is putting me so far behind on my posts...so here are some pictures from the last week or so!  Gosh, I love these two so very much!

Zoe's Special Day

We had so much fun taking Zoe out for a special day to celebrate her actual birthday on the 14th. Zach had to work a half day, so we got to do everything as a family, which makes it that much more special! We started the day with her favorites of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Little Einsteins....and naptime!
Then off to lunch at Chick-fil-a!
Once we were done with lunch, it was off to Toys-R-Us! Zoe got a fun birthday balloon and a crown that she absolutely loved! Zoe got birthday money from Ponchito, so we let her pick out a present!

Let the searching begin for the perfect little present!
....and we got lots of "Happy Birthdays"!
An all time favorite of talking Elmo....but Mommy and Daddy's sanity is much more important!
And we decided on this Leaptop! Thanks Ponchito!
After Toys-R-Us, it was time to go to Zoe's 24 Month Checkup. Our girl is looking great! Zoe weighs 26.6 lbs (50%). Zoe is 34.25 inches tall (63%). Her BMI is 36%. Dr. Evans is very pleased with our little girl's growth, considering at 6 months she was in the 3rd percentile for weight!
With our checkup complete, we wasted no time and went straight to Catch Air! Boy did she have a blast! Catch Air might be one of our new favorite places. It has bouncies and SO much more! Zoe had a great time playing in the obstacle courses, sliding down the slides, climbing and climbing, playing in the ball pit, jumping on the floor piano and the light up floor....Mommy and Daddy had a lot of fun playing, too!

It just blows my mind away how fast the last 2 years have gone. Zoe has grown into such a fun, silly, adventurous, precious little girl! Every morning, I just look at her and want to pinch myself!

Troubles

Oh how I have missed blogging....I feel like it has been an eternity...yet it has only been 3 days!  Withdrawls...I think so.  But I am not big on posts without pictures and my precious 2007 Gateway is going through a tough time right now keeping its battery charged.  Once the problem is resolved....I will be back in the game to tell you all about the happenings of our life!  Until then......

Happy Baptismal Day to Evan!

What an absolutely blessed day we had on Saturday!  My Baby boy is now Baptized!

Zach and I thought and prayed a lot about who we wanted to be Evan's Godparents.  In the Catholic faith, we choose Godparents to help us in the raising of our children in their faith....it is a big deal and not a decision to take lightly...well not in this family :)  And Zach and I were in complete agreement that Alyshia and Greg would be the perfect people to be Evan's Godparents!

Evan and 3 other little girls were baptized...so it was quite packed....which is just beautiful because this day is a celebration!

Evan is one popular guy....look at all the people who came to share in this day with us...so blessed!!!

Zach's side of the Family!

Our Beautiful Godbabies and their families!

And my side of the family!

After the Baptism, we had a small reception at my parent's house!  And ate more cake...yummy!

I just love days like these that we are reminded how blessed we are to have such an Amazing God!  A God who gave us the gift of His Son, the gift of our family and our friends!

Welcome to The Catholic Church and your Christian Life, Evan!
