Happy Valentine's Day

I really would find any reason to have a party and have all our friends over for an afternoon...and Valentine's Day was the next holiday!  Luckily, last year I bought a ton of decor for the holiday of Love for mere pennies.    And with the help of Pinterest...a party came to life!
The biggest hit of the party was the pretzel bites!  So easy!  Pretzel, hershey kiss (I used dark chocolate) heated in the oven and topped with an M&M.
My favorite valentine from Pinterest...'I DIG YOU!'

 The craft table...busy making valentines!
 Our Princesses!

 What a Beauty!

And we really lucked out with a gorgeous day!

Poor Evan was completely worn out by all the love...he pretty much napped the entire party!

It was so nice spending a couple hours with some of my favorite Mommies and their beautiful babies!  And I absolutely loved the fact that all my Godbabies were in one place, at one time and I got to spend time with each of them.  I am so blessed to have each of these women in my life...and

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!!!
I hope you get to spend the day with the ones you love.

Hi Rebecca~
I really don't remember how I found your little blog but I started reading you shortly after you lost your precious little Oliver. You write with such joy that I can't help reading all about you and your little family pretty often.
I have 4 daughters who are grown now but I love watching how seriously you take this job of mothering. Your children will "rise up and call you blessed" I have no doubt because your love for the Lord , your hubby and entire family are so evident.
I started this comment to say this however... if you ever want to start your own business you should be a child's party planner!! You have the cutest ideas and are so good at throwing them together to make it look effortless.
Thanks for letting us share a little of your family in their day to day life.

How sweet was that comment...you are such sweet little mama! Anyway, I love the party....always my favorite times with my little kiddos, parties or gatherings with friends and having cute snacks! Did you ice those cucpcakes? If so, good job! I'm always trying to figure out how to make cupcake icing look like the pros do! And I LOVE those pretzel bites...have you tried them with rolos melted on the pretzel and a pecan on top? Yum. Not as pretty as your m and m ones though!

The party turned out so cute. I never think to have parties like that. Birthdays are usually all I pull together. I do love planning it, though. You did a great job on the cupcakes, girl! Next year, we'll have to send you some little hearts to place on top (edible, of course). @ Kimberly: anytime you need a quick "how-to" on icing cupcakes, I can pull some strings and maybe find someone, or someTWO who would not mind one split second to give you a few tips that'll have you whipping those cupcakes out like nobody's business. :)
