I had another quick but good visit with the doctor today. I had my Beta Strep Test and they checked my progress. He said I am exactly how a first time mom should be.....about 25% effaced and my cervix is closed still. Good to know.
The baby's heart rate was 138. I had read this week in one of my email updates that the baby should drop within the next week or so. I asked the doctor about this and he let me know the baby had already dropped and its head was engaged. I found this very interesting since I still feel the baby so much in my ribs, but he is the doctor and has done this a couple more times than me. :)
My next visit is in one week on the 28th.
As you can probably tell from no updates, we did not close on the house yesterday. I don't understand why nothing in the real estate world ever happens on time. But, we have a 7 day extension to get the mortgage approved and we are just waiting to hear back from them. So, we are hoping some time from the 27th to the 30th. Hopefully everything will go smoothly...please say some prayers for us :)
