We Are Ready!

Awesome baby shower this weekend! I just love when everyone gets together. Some great friends from high school and college came that I hadn't seen in awhile which was wonderful, too! And I had an absolutely amazing surprise....Kaitlin came home!!! It just brought me to tears when she walked in. Love her and miss her so much!
We got almost everything off our registry...all we have left to get is the swing and the bouncer seat and we got plenty of gift cards for that.....so WE ARE READY!!!!!!! Here are some of my favorite things we got: I got this adorable diaper bag, wallet, and key ring pouch. I love the pattern and I have heard that a purse is not as necessary once you have a baby because you just put everything in the diaper bag! I have to admit....I am 24 years old, raised in the South, and have never had the slightest bit of interest in Vera Bradley. But, this is really cute and receiving this as a gift may have started something very bad!

I had never seen this before but I can't wait to use it....well I guess I can wait about 7 or 8 months. But, it is a silicon freezer tray for food storage. I had never thought about making my own baby food, but sometimes it makes sense...I mean how hard is it to puree sweet potatoes or peas. This tray makes it really easy. Each compartment is 1 1/2 cups of food and you just pop it our and defrost when you need it.

I used a carrier all the time when taking care of Dakota. It helped so much when we went to the store and she still couldn't sit up in the cart. I have heard great things about this carrier and I am so glad we received it!

We got the cover for our boppy....I thought it was really cute!

We are going to have one clean, smooth baby! We got a ton of Aveeno products. I love nothing more than the smell of a baby after a good bath!

I also got a ton of things for the car and room to help with organization....and boy do I love to organize! So calming! Everyone...thank you so much for coming and for showering our little one with so much love!

WE ARE READY!!! Not only am I ready to have this baby....but I am ready to have bone structure back in my face...I miss my face. I am ready to have my ankles back, ready to sleep on my back again, ready to run, ready to wear my Engagement ring again, ready to go shopping for baby clothes, ready to be able to paint my toe nails again, ready to not go to the bathroom every 30 minutes, ready to kiss my baby's beautiful face, ready for a glass of wine, ready for EVERYTHING! And I can't wait!
