Size of Baby: Baby #3 is about 13 1/2 inches and weighs about 1 1/2 lbs (size of a rutabaga). Baby #3 is starting to loss its nice long, lean body and gain some weight....looking more and more like a newborn every day.
Total Weight Gain: +14...up 2 from last week.
Maternity Clothes: I got a cute dress (pictured) from Kohl's this week with my Kohl's Cash...L.O.V.E that place! Wearing a lot of work out pants and tank tops. Trying to stay comfy.
Gender: Really, really feeling boy...I have even started to call Baby #3 by our boy name. I LOVE our boy name and I love saying it aloud. I may totally be getting my hopes up...but oh well!
Movement: This little one's kicks are moving on up. I am feeling more at the top of my tummy. Majority are still pretty low but Baby #3 is learning that it has more space in there! Not for long!
Sleep: Well...lets just say it wasn't the best week...Having a tough time getting comfortable with Zach in the bed. During naps, I space out and sleep....AMAZING! I end up propping myself up to fall asleep. This week, I woke up in the morning sore because of not having enough support...either because I slept the night on my back flat or on my side and lost my pillow for my tummy. Hoping for a better week....
Symptoms: At our appointment, I let my midwife know of the weird skin issues. The burn feeling started to move down my left leg and she thinks it could be that the baby is on my sciatic nerve. When I work or stand for a period of time, my leg gets very tingly and goes numb. There are some exercises I can do to help this, but it isn't anything that is preventing me from doing anything. Just uncomfortable sometimes. I have had some ligament pains which I am sure because I am growing and growing! I also have discovered more of my little capilary explosions! Thank Goodness no more on my forehead!
Best Moment of the Week: It never gets old hearing Baby #3's heart beat. I so badly want to get a 4D ultrasound done, but I know it just isn't in the cards. I wish I could just see this baby one more time before birthday! Even though time is flying by, I wish it was already August. I can't wait to see who this baby is and who it looks like! Maybe I will get lucky this time around and the baby will get more than just my ears! Zoe is all Zach!
I also have really been thinking about delivery...what I hope to do differently this time around. I want to have no intervention whatsoever. I would say I delivered Zoe naturally, but I did have IV meds to take some of the edge off. I don't want these this time around. The way the meds made me feel was a little too much for me. I hate not being in control of the way my body feels and the meds made me pretty loopy. I also want to move around more! And I am praying I don't have back labor this time around, but if I do....Zach is going to be ready with tennis balls!
And I got to meet Ms. Gianna!!!
And a date night with my Hubby to Uncle Julio's!
