This weekend was wonderful! Zach had off. I could really start getting used to him having off every weekend...this will be quite a luxury when we gets a Superintendents position. We slept in on Saturday and then Zach made pancakes for breakfast. Then we headed to Fairhope. I love Fairhope. It is such a quaint, adorable town. I had to go to Fairhope to finish a project at the Paint n' Parrot. The Paint n' Parrot is like an All Fired Up. I love painting...it is very calming. Zach helped out when we got there. I had started the projects for Sherrie at a MOPS meeting. MOPS is Mother's of Pre-Schoolers. And ran out of time so we had to go into the store to finish up. I painted a cute dish that said "Follow me to the Dock" with Dakota's footprints on the plate. SO CUTE! I had already painted a crab on it but Zach wanted to also paint a fish. I tried to explain to him they weren't supposed to look real...more cartoon like. Well, He tried really hard. Hopefully it will turn out :) After our painting, we walked around the town and got lunch at a local cafe. Once Zach had enough walking, we finished up some Christmas shopping that I had forgotten about. We relaxed the rest of the day....so nice :)
Sunday, we headed to Church and then I had to run some quick errands. Sunday night, the Gulf Shores United Methodist Church held their annual Christmas Concert. It was wonderful and really got me more in the Christmas mood. It is hard to get excited about Christmas when it is 70 degrees out. But...a great weekend it was :) I love spending time with Zach and not having anything to do, yet we have so much fun.
