Officially a Mother

I officially feel like a mother for 2 reasons.

First, I locked myself out of my house, but didn’t realize it until I remembered I forgot the diaper bag. Luckily, I could stay at my mom’s house the rest of the day….bad thing….diaper bag was in my locked house. So….I feel lost now without a diaper bag!

Second reason. My mom packed up all my diapers at her house to move, so there was only 1 diaper left…..ONE….to last the whole day. Needless to say, about mid-day we had a minor blow out and I used the one, lone diaper and felt like we were in the clear! Wishful thinking! I was waiting for Zach to get done with a project at my uncle’s so he could unlock to the door. I got the phone call to come home and I was finishing things up at mom’s house and it happened! HUMUNGOUS BLOW OUT! HUGE!!!! And no diaper! So what’s a mom to do…..well this is how I handled it….please observe without laughing at me too hard. Yep that is right…..DUCK TAPE solves EVERYTHING! I found some lady pads, wrapped her up with tape and raced home. Like I said….I officially feel like a mom now and well deserved!

Becca this is hilarious!!! I just can't even imagine. Way to be resourceful girl!! Maybe it's time for a hidden key at your new house? :) Speaking of, I am dying to see house pics. Not that little Zoey Jane is not adorable enough!

And see, Zoe Jane didn't mind at all! Now make sure you buy some pink duct tape for next time! My son is only 18 months, so I am not quite seasoned, but rest assured there will be a next time! Thank you sharing that, it made my day!
