This past weekend, we celebrate Kimberly, my sil, birthday at Kani Japanese Steak House(no I didn't eat anything....very tempted though!). Grandma and Carly came into town, too! And I got a couple good pics.....and I always share :)

Park, Park, and more Park

I know I am going to be at the Park all summer...well in between pool trips, of course! My baby girl just loves it! We found yet another great park this past week....Dacula Park. It has a nice walking trail, two playgrounds, it is right next to a Library, and half way between my house and my good friend, Alyshia's house. Who could ask for more?!?

Have I mentioned that Zoe Jane drools!?! Drool in the Wind...Haha!

New Friends

I have made a great new friend.....All because I BLOG! I never thought by blogging I would actually MEET people in real life....I just thought I would get to connect through words with people around the country. Relate with other women about babies, husbands, saving money, etc.....But I have actually met someone....My Blog Friend!

My new friend and I have running in common....and much more! So, we met at a local park this past weekend and ran....such great conversation and it made 4 miles of running seem like nothing.

Michelle.....I am so happy we got to meet! You were such great company and I can't believe how much we have in common. I can't wait to do it again!

First Day

Today I started my new job......yes.....a new one. I wish I didn't have to start a new one, but this one isn't going to be too bad. Zach's job is starting to get into it's busy season....so that means longer hours. So bye bye to the YMCA and hello to.....Kroger! I have always shopped at Kroger and love my kroger plus card and watching the savings just by scanning! So when I realized I needed to find something that had later hours....Kroger popped into my head first.

Did I mention the 20% discount I get for working there....ya! Can't wait to save more between Kroger plus card, coupons, and a discount....YAY!

First day went okay....my legs are definitely going to need to get used to standing for hours straight. Everyone was so nice, too! I have found that I really like working in a Customer Service atmosphere. I like meeting people a lot....even if for just 5 minutes. My favorite job ever was probably Chick-fil-a in high school. I just loved helping people....and eating free chick-fil-a everyday was AMAZING!

So....my hours have gone from 2:30-6:30 to 5:00-11:00. So not only will I work less days and get more hours....but (and the best part) I get to spend more of the day with my Zoe Jane. Now that she is on a good night time schedule, she goes to sleep between 7 and 8. So I am only missing 2 hours! Yay! So worth it!

New Things Every Week

Zoe Jane is changing more and more every week! Her little personality is really coming out....I love it! She is talking and cooing and laughing.....but most of all....blowing bubbles and drooling! She has definitely started the beginning phases of teething.....biting...drooling....kinda fussy.

She still is calmed by sucking...but wants nothing to do with her pacie! All she wants is her thumb! And boy does it calm her so fast.

Zoe is also getting so strong! She is sitting up by herself...and quickly leaning forward....but she is learning her balance which is great. She has great control of her head and has really been interested more in standing up. So...it was time to pull out this....

They all grow up so fast! Still no rolling though....mainly because I forget to do tummy time....bad Mommy! Okay, I just don't want her to be mobile yet.....OKAY!!!!

I am a Christian

I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.

I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.

When I say 'I am a Christian' I'm not claiming to be perfect.
My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it.

When I say 'I am a Christian' I still feel the sting of pain.
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.

When I say 'I am a Christian' I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner who received God's good grace, somehow!

Today is Beautiful Christian Woman's Day.
Pretty is as Pretty does but, Beautiful is just plain Beautiful..
