My favorite place at the camp....The Chapel is so simple but soooo beautiful! I love it!
My Pop Pop with his Great Grandgirls....will we ever add a boy to the family?
Saturday morning, we started the day with morning prayer and then off to dye Easter eggs. I love all the traditions of holidays!
It is finally warm enough to not wear socks.....so Zoe and I got our nails painted.
Saturday night we had a huge potluck barbecue. Every family brought a dish and we had hamburgers and hot dogs. The weather was amazing...could not have asked for more!
Sunday came and it was such a perfect day....I wish I could spend Easter at Covecrest every year! We were able to have Mass outside which made it even better. To be a surrounded by all God's beauty and praise Him for His Son's death and resurrection was so powerful and moving! This was definitely the best Easter celebration, I have ever had. I am so grateful for all God has blessed me with!
Zach was a part of the Mass, which was really special. He said the Prayers of the Faithful.....It brings tears to my eyes to think of where we were a year ago in our faith together.....where God was in our marriage....and where we are today and how much we have grown together with God! Beyond blessed! And it makes me so happy to think about Easter next year.....Zach will be making his sacraments and become Catholic!
After Mass, we had the Easter Egg Hunt. And Zoe got to see what the Easter Bunny brought her. Boy, that bunny knew exactly what Zoe needed...haha. Zoe Jane got two outfits, a bathing suit, two headbands, a big white flower bow, and her first sippy cup.
Zoe Jane got 1 egg!
Then off to Brunch....SO GOOD!
Here are Kaitlin and all the missionaries (minus 1). They are all such amazing people! Kaitlin is so blessed to have such wonderful brothers and sisters to spend this year with and the rest of her life! God is good!
