I Wish Someone Would Have Told Me

One of the blogs I follow posted this last week....it was so real and funny and heartbreaking and true all at the same time. I thought I would post some of my "I wishes..."

I wish someone would have told me that giving your heart to someone meant that you were giving them permission to hurt you at any time.

I wish someone would have told me that after having kids...laughing, sneezing, coughing would do what it does now!

I wish someone would have told me that just when you feel life couldn't get any better...something happens.

I wish someone would have told me that insecurity if such a killer.

I wish someone would have told me that asking for forgiveness doesn't mean you will be forgiven....or someone saying they forgive doesn't always mean they do.

I wish someone would have told me how stinky, nasty, gross men really can be.

I wish someone would have told me sooner that God is this good.

I wish someone would have told me that being a stay-at-home mom was harder than working in a 9-5 job....yet so rewarding.

I wish someone would have told me that the hard times in a marriage make you stronger and appreciate all the good times that much more.

I wish someone would have told me that the love I could feel for my kids is the most real love I will ever feel.

I wish someone would have told me that the house doesn't clean itself...I am still thinking it will.

I wish someone would have told me that the emotions you feel during a pregnancy will make you think you are crazy...or maybe I just am.

I wish someone would have told me that doctors are not always right.

I wish someone would have told me that loosing a child never gets easier.

I wish someone would have told me that when I was complaining about the size I was in college that I would be longing to look that way now.

I wish someone would have told me that friendships can be so hard. But the ones that seem almost effortless are the ones that will last a lifetime.

I wish someone would have told me that financial struggles will end...and feel so good when they do.

I wish someone would have told me that having big boobs could stink this much.

I wish someone would have told me that family is the most important thing and to never take them for granted.

Do you have any "I wishes..."? I would love to hear them....I bet I could totaly relate...

Awww poor Zach! I guess I got lucky with Cory, he doesn't have any gross habits, he's probably cleaner than me!
