I took Zoe Jane to her 1 month check up yesterday. Our little girl is growing up so fast! She now weighs 9 lbs 5.5 oz (birth weight was 6 lbs 13 oz) and she is 21.25" long (19" at birth). I can't believe how much she has grown in a little over a month. I now have no worries at all that Zoe is getting enough to eat! She has really started to coo and "talk" and I love it! Her little sounds are so sweet!
Unfortunately, Zoe Jane had to get her second round of the Hepatitis B vaccine. Let's just say.....my heart broke....tears rolled uncontrollably....I wish I could have gotten the shot for her. Oh, her little face just made me want to hold her forever and never let go.
I know she will be getting a lot more rounds of shots for a little while and she will cry. Try this stuff called LMX. You can get it at Walgreens. It is a numbing cream that you can put on a spot where your child will be getting a shot and they wont feel it. This works wonders with Cade.
ReplyDeleteI don't really think that Zoe and Julie look alot alike but the one picture you have up of Zoe...I swear looks just like the picture I have of Julie at weeks.
