Day Two with Evan!

Every moment we are learning more and more about Evan! From our 4D, we knew he liked his hands....but he LOVES them! We have already found him a couple times sucking his thumb.

During birth, Evan swallowed some blood and fluids. The first night, he gargled a lot...it sounded like he was choking. So, Evan had his stomach pumped of all the extra fluids. In the same morning, he also had his hearing test and his circumcision. We had one exhausted baby on Day Two!
Zoe Zoo had a great time visiting her brother! She just loves him and wants to kiss him all over!
We had more visitors on Day Two! The Andrews' Family and Katie came to meet Evan and shower him with love. The Femiano's also visited! Evan is so loved already!!!

Evan has an adorable button nose. His head has lost its cone shape and is so cute and round. He has thinner lips than Zoe and small little slit eyes. He hasn't opened his eyes very much, but they are definitely blue at this point. Looking at Evan in profile, he favors Zoe, but straight on he has his own little look. I could stare at him all day long!

Day Two went great, but the Doctor wanted to keep Evan over night to make sure he did okay after having his stomach pumped. Evan also had quite a bit of bruising from birth, so she wanted to make sure it did not cause jaundice. So we stayed another night in the hospital. Saturday afternoon, we were discharged and headed home!!!
